The Global Programme of DHO

Welcome to the website of the Global Programme of Stichting Duurzaam Hoger Onderwijs, (DHO, or Sustainable Higher Education Foundation). DHO is a Dutch network organization (with 1500 members) stimulating the integration of sustainable development in higher education. DHO cooperates with higher education institutes, NGOs, companies and the government. DHO organizes projects, workshops, training sessions and offers consultancy and audit instruments.

The Global Programme is one of the programmes of DHO.

This website is full of information and tools for teachers and students about how to integrate sustainable development into the curricula of higher education. We chose the URL Noord-Zuid (north south) to clarify that the global program is focused on societal, environmental en economic sustainable issues involving developing countries and poverty reduction. This programme focuses on border crossing issues, on ways to work together on global sustainable development.
